Dendrochronology

Each turn,
One hour

Glass upturned,
Starts again.

Each turn
One year

Tree upturned,
It dies.

  4. Think of the horror if the hourglass was calibrated for thirty minute intervals ....

I could weep at the thought .......

(are the hourglass and calibrate mutually exclusive?)

  11. Dear Stafford: Hope nobody ever upturns me upside down. It is amazing how we can make time and the growth circles on tree stumps shows us how to mark time. As if I really need to do that! Now to find a way to go backwards or turn over time somehow!
