Suz, thank you. I'd like to be able to claim to be the wind, but she deserves to claim all her remarkable achievements as hers alone. Importantly, she realised her (deceased) mother's potential!
I'm hoping your daughter reads this blog! She's one lucky lady ... and yes, alas ~ the poor idiot referred to in my Magpie is still one!
This is such a sweet tribute. I hope your hero reads this!(Hey, this air sign noticed one is missing!)
Yes, Stafford I am sure you were the wind beneath her wings. This is such a wonderful poem celebrating your daughter's achievements in such a creative way. Love it!! :-)
Aw shucks Ford, that is a tear jerker.I am a fan of the "much said in so few words".You did it exquisitely.
Ahhh, for a daughter to be her father's hero...wonderful!- Dina
Suz and Willow, I beg forgiveness and invite you to have another look! Julia would never have committed such an omission! :-)

sweet tribute to a wonderful daughter-we should all be so lucky! She is blessed.
Lovely tribute to your daughter, makes me miss my own long-lost Dad, she is a lucky girl.
" To know her, is to love her "She's " Genuine " tis trueYour " Blessed" , and she's so " Lucky "" To share love with a Dad Like You "
With five daughters in the nest, I see how they, and they alone, tug and pull at their daddy's heart strings...May all daughters of the world realise how much their fathers love them...as you certainly do.Seemingly effortless magpie so wonderfully executed.
Beautiful piece Stafford...her wisdom, obviously some from her great dad....Great Magpie...bkm
Stafford, I thought you might be claiming a getetic line to our new PM.

So much packed into so few words. Wonderful! I'm new to magpie, reading around and introducing myself. Very nice to meet you.Tina
Delightful. Your daughter is a lucky girl.
How endearing. Really. I adore my only daughter, and would love her even more if she stopped pinching my make-up and things when up for a visit!
Dear Stafford: How beautiful to write a poem about the deep love you feel for your daughter. The bond is made strong by your ability to communicate your love. Touching! Excellent poem!
An enchanting chant for nature.
A most wonderful tribute!
I love the way you've clipped words and phrases here: what is partial still speaks volumes.
smiles. a beautiful tribute stafford....
Every girl wants to know her dad thinks so highly of her. Very nice Magpie.
Well SR another winner. I grew up cynical and feeling abandoned by my father, who did abandon us, such a sad loss probably for him too. I am envious of your beautiful daughter. But I was blessed with 4 beautiful ones and their dad who adores them. I take much comfort from that. BlessingsQMM
