ha. funny but scary too when you get off the road like that...
Not for you, Stafford.
Super cute. :) I love when people say "arse."
Ah but you have risen to the challenge (as always) - been there!
I think we all have!
But you always make it seem easy, good sir! :)
Off the road - or off the rails - you always make us smile. :)
Response from driver:My dear Why must you be so crassWe missed the turn 'tis trueWindshield's fine No need to fussJust had an urge to cuddle you
If I had but known that was your intention,The windshield would never have rated a mention! But wait on my dear,I still have one fear... I wonder if petting will strain the suspension!
Springs and shocks Are working fineFront and rear alikeMissed your chance, you silly manI’m off to ride my bike
Now hold on there and don't be terse,It's just my nature- risk averse. So let's go backTo our love shack...(If I can ever find reverse!)
I bet this just flowed from your - er, computer! Made me chuckle too.
Thanks Nellie, it sometimes feels I am channelling Spike Milligan! He was another helpless idiot. Did you know there is a bridge in Woy Woy named after him?
Woy's that then?

Ha! It is really called Woy, as is Wagga (pronounced wogga) but it passes the ears too quickly to register, so we say it twice. Wagga on the other hand, can be found on maps as Wagga Wagga, as can Jilliby Jilliby and Grong Grong. All of the above is a lie. Actually, our indigenous forebears have a base 5 numbering system I have been told, and apparently that allows them to estimate numbers of sheep for instance with great accuracy. But where there was a big mob of anything or where there was need to express an extreme, the name was repeated. Woy Woy means 'much water', Grong Grong means 'very bad camping place' so one wonders why the silly white fellas built a town there!
This sounds like the conversation in my car...
What a good idea! See above.
As far as i know, you are the only person in recorded culture vulture history to realise that Adolphe was sitting in the car painting, he wasnt silly ! Bravo
Of course, and thank you. But you still have not told we, your followers what happened to Hermit Ned!
Why limit yourself to just one identity . I think we are all entitled to at least 72 ! . It could take me a while to set up that many blogs, what a nightmare cor the draconian corporate state if we all realised ourselves in this way ! . Whoops, sounds like Ned talking, Dunnit ? , theyll never catch him in the snowy mountains.
I agree that following people with multiple blogs is a pain in the arse, unless second and subsequent blogs are special interest. However, I think Ned is still with you.
I think it was the river you went off into, not the grass - I'm pretty sure a sponge isn't going to help.LOL at you & Helen - I could read you guys all day :)
Don't encourage her!
My arrival is late but your verse is still so real and so funny, Stafford. Thank you for sharing your tidbits of truth. =D
