49 Frozen Magpies.

Some days it is better to stay in bed.

We all had forgotten to take
Our woolly ear muffs, goodness sake!
No snowshoes or mittens,
Out noses frost bitten,
And worse, we could not find the lake!

More magpie tales at Tess's place.
PS. Tess is the little cranky one on the right.

  10. Then the little one, farthest out
Makes a rude discovery that will count.

Actually they have found the lake,
    Quite by mistake,

And a woolly warm anything, is not about

  18. A poetic take right from the
image, and from the organ of
    humor lodged somewhere in
your innards. A one corner of
the lip smile for this one, yet
the Aussie sense of fun is
    prevalent.
