Magpie with hubris or spot the red face..
“A child could do better,” I said.

The mysteries of modern art, eh?
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think our indigenous artists have it sewn up.
Somehow, Stafford, it seems that you have been gone for some time. Miss you - cheer up and spread that shining ray!
ReplyDeleteStafford, just wanted to say I love what you said about Carrie over at Hope Whispers. It is so true, she sees - and seeks beauty like no other!
ReplyDeleteNice! You keep coming up with great stuff!!
ReplyDeleteI can so relate to that first line Stafford...I can't tell you the times I have seen modern art, and thought that in my head....love this! :-)
ReplyDeleteplayful tale.
ReplyDeletewell done.
Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteThat said, I enjoyed this read; it made me smile.
A child can do better? So it seems can chimps and elephants these days. Watching them right now on BBC TV News (UK) Great little limerick.
ReplyDeleteA brilliant little limerick!
ReplyDeleteAnna :o]
